Information to the authors and readers of the "Privolzhsky Scientific Journal"

Chief Scientific Secretary of the Higher Attestation Commission under the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia K. M. Matskevich in a letter No. 02-1198 dated December 6, 2022 “On the list of peer-reviewed scientific journals” addressed to the chief editors of peer-reviewed scientific publications as follows.

1. According to the results of the analysis of scientometric indicators, all scientific publications included in the list of peer-reviewed scientific publications are divided into categories K1, K2, K3. "Privolzhsky Scientific Journal" is included in the K2 category of peer-reviewed scientific journals, in which the main scientific results of dissertations for the degree of candidate of science, doctor of science should be published.

2. Currently, amendments to the regulations in the field of state scientific certification are being prepared, after the introduction of which the date for the start of applying the categorization of journals included in the List of peer-reviewed scientific publications will be determined.

3. Based on the recommendation of the Higher Attestation Commission, the requirement to have publications in journals indexed in foreign databases is currently not applied (to applicants for scientific degrees).
